Please help us get the word out about this poll through your business organizations, colleagues, and your media, and feel free to use the data in your own work. You can read the poll report here.
Key findings include:
- 72% of small business owners think incentives for clean energy are a priority
- 62% of small business owners oppose continuing subsidies to oil, gas and coal companies
- 80% of small business owners support requiring disclosure of chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing (fracking)
You’ll find attached the press release that was sent to NY focused media for you to forward. The poll release was picked up by The Washington Post and other media.
Thank you in advance for your efforts. We hope this important information helps to illustrate the value of membership in the NYS Sustainable Business Council. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions about the press release or the NYSSBC fracking and energy campaigns.
