In response to numerous requests made at the showing of Josh Fox’s “How to Let Go of the World” in Narrowsburg, NY, DCS will be providing a bus from Narrowsburg to the Philadelphia Clean Energy March!
Join us on the bus July 24!
Where: Leaving from Pete’s Plaza (formerly Peck’s), Kirks Road, Narrowsburg, NY
When: Sunday, July 24 promptly at 8:00 am
Cost: $35.00
Returning from Philadelphia at 5:00 pm and arriving back in Narrowsburg at about 8:30 pm.
Park at the car wash end of the lot.
Pete’s Market opens at 7 am, so you can get sandwiches, etc.
Reserve your space on the bus by making a $35.00 “donation” to DCS. If you pay by check, please add a note that it is for the bus. If you pay on-line, please put “Bus” in “Mailing Address (line 2)”. Please call (845-252-6677) or email our office (DCS@DamascusCitizens.org) with any questions. If you can afford a little extra donation, or just want to help someone get to the march even if you can’t go, it will be passed along as an “assistance scholarship”.
Other buses going to Philadelphia from around the region can be found here. These buses may be less expensive because they are subsidized by Big Green, while ours is not.
