This is a rare chance to attend a DRBC meeting in our local area. The agenda is expected to include consideration of the resolutions and draft dockets for withdrawals, discharges, and other projects that are subjects of the public hearing on May 8, 2024, plus a resolution directing staff to develop a Climate Resilience Plan that includes elements related to planning, consultation, outreach, education, and rulemaking concerning climate change. You will also be able to view the meeting on the DRBC’s YouTube channel.

After all scheduled business has been completed and as time allows, the Business Meeting may be followed by up to one hour of Open Public Comment. This is an opportunity to address the Commission on any topic concerning management of the Basin’s water resources outside the context of a duly noticed, on-the-record public hearing. To provide open public comment, register via Eventbrite by Tuesday, June 4, at 5 PM.

Following the meeting there will be a screening of the short film Our Shared Waters: A Flight Along the Delaware and panel discussion highlighting success stories and management challenges for the Upper Delaware River, moderated by Meg McGuire, Delaware Currents.

We will be meeting at the Narrowsburg Union (7 Erie Ave, Narrowsburg, NY 12764) at 9:30 AM for a short press conference in the Union parking lot. After this, we will be marching to the Tusten Theatre for the DRBC business meeting. We will stay for the meeting and to support those who have signed up to speak. Parking will be available at the Union. We hope you will join us with signs and comments.
