Remembering Ed Wesely

Remembering Ed Wesely
September 16, 1930 to May 26, 2021

I walk following the footsteps of Ed Wesely.
Feeling the stillness of the woods, watching the Delaware River and the Monarchs with my heart wide open.
My ears and eyes have heard his words and know his reverence for all creatures great and small.

  • Ed gave his time generously to the Tusten Heritage Community Garden in Narrowsburg, NY where he tended the pollinator garden to benefit bees and butterflies on their way.
  • He inspired children of all ages with science and biology during the annual Honey Bee Festival.
  • He volunteered many hours of interviews for WJFF Radio Catskill segments.
  • And most of all, my mind comprehends his educated passion for the preservation of the historic Skinners Falls bridge.
  • He has forever enriched my life, and I am grateful to have stood on the path with him.

Please join Barbara Yeaman and friends for a celebration of Ed’s life
When: Thursday, October 14 @ 11 am

Ed Wesely and Barbara Yeaman enjoyed living in Milanville, PA along the Delaware River for 30 years. Together they gifted our community at their home and “Butterfly Barn”, sharing knowledge about Monarch Butterflies and living with reverence for all creatures great and small.

Barbara Yeaman asks that folks who can not attend this Thursday, October 14; send her a note about a special memory for Ed and she will share it with participants.
